There’s room in the heart but less in the yeshiva
Thank G-d, the yeshiva has been growing at an accelerated pace and in more recent years we have been feeling that “there’s not enough space”. At this moment there are scores of yeshiva students who are sleeping in apartments instead of in the dormitory, the dining room is crowded and in a more general sense there’s no clear mindedness. Such circumstances currently adversely affect the yeshiva’s programs and even more so it also has an impact on our ability to grow in the coming years, to accept additional students and the development of the yeshiva. As such, we are excited about launching a fundraiser as we approach the construction of the new building of the Chabad yeshiva in Kiriyat Gat. You will find here the different phases of construction and we invite you to dedicate the phase that’s closest to your heart in the merit of, for the complete cure, for success as well as for the ascension of the soul of your dear departed one and more. |
The new building
A new and modern building, that will serve as a dormitory and dining room is currently in the midst of advanced stages of construction with the best services and facilities at the disposal of the yeshiva students that will offer them quiet and tranquility that are required in order to focus on their studies and blessed actions for the sake of the city residents and the entire southern region of Israel.

The construction site is located on Eliyahu Hanavi 7 Street in Kiriyat Gat adjacent to the already existing yeshiva buildings
The building is currently at an accelerated construction pace. The plan is, with G-d’s help, to finish the outer structure of the building during the next few months.
The building will stretch over about 5,000 square meters with a height of 4 floors.
The building will serve primarily as a dormitory for hundreds of students.
